Cell & Molecular Biology:

Additional advanced equipment is available at the Biotechnology and Genomics Core Facilities operated by the Institute for Biotechnology and Genomics. These include: Beckman Gold HPLC system, Milligen 6625 Pro-Sequencer, Milligen Sy-Clone DNA synthesizer, Laser densitometer, Thermocyclers (5),a BioRad Particle Gun, three chromatogranphy systems (a Pharmacia FPLC, Perkin-Elmer Biosystems Biocad Sprint, and a Dionex HPLC), Automatic X-ray developing system, Imagegraphics computerized slide-making system (Macintosh & Windows), (6) Texas Tech University has recently acquired five additional DNA auto-sequencers at the Institute for Biotechnology and Genomics.
